Daytona Cosmograph 18K Yellow Gold 6263
This is a pre-owned Rolex Daytona cosmograph women's watch reference 6263. It has a 37.00mm case size in yellow gold, with dial on a yellow gold oyster bracelet, powered by a mechanical wind movement. This Rolex is in excellent condition complete with Rolex Service papers dated 2010. The watch dates to Circa 1987. Our reference is ATS-W008201 should you need to quote this.
Approximately 335 pieces of the 6263 were produced in 18k Yellow gold mainly for the European market. This excellent example is in beautiful condition for it's age and is original to its production year of 1987. The dial is in excellent condition, correct featuring serif graphics and tritium markers slightly thicker than earlier standards. The case is still thick and not over polished like many examples offered. It appears that the tritium hands and crown are also original (model 24.700 - 7mm Triplock second series in gold for the latter). The bezel is a MK3 variant, correct for the production year and is also in excellent condition. The bracelet matches the age of the watch with the clasp bearing the "L4" engraving indicating a production date of April 1987. In addition the watch features the correct "71" stamped end links, with a sharper font compared to the first series and a “7” featuring a hook-shaped design. The movement appears in excellent condition and working order and is a caliber 727. In is nice that the watch is also accompanied by Rolex service papers from a previous service. Otherwise it is supplied as "watch only".
